I took this rare photograph on December 1st, 3 days before the local
news stations in Hawaii announced that the lava might make it's way
into Hawaii Volcanoes National Park here.
The link below is MSNBC and gives more details. This photo shows the
entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This photograph was aired
on the news and was requested to be sent to CNN.
Since 1990, I have never seen a red sun. This is sulfuric clouds of
vog
with cumulus clouds mixed with sunlight.
