First dresden plate - teal bg

    Same dresden plate as the other picture but with a teal background. I can't figure out which background I like better @_@ Please excuse the poor lighting.

    Used this tutorial and changed the size of the template to be smaller and thinner.

      It's machine pieced and yes I plan to hand applique it to a solid background, either teal or pink (I haven't decided yet :D)

      I did find some yellow solid fabric that is perfect for the centers! I'm embroidering the circle before adding it to the plate...
