Three Snowies

Bets are being taken on whether I stay home and do chores tomorrow or go back :) I guess I saw around 30.

Snowy Owls

My first snowy owls and my first photos of any owl. I drove up to Boundary Bay today. If I realized it was so close and easy to get too, I would have been up there a lot more! There are an amazing amount of Bald Eagles in the area now too. Lots on the ground and in low growing trees since there aren't really any tall trees around. I noticed that Snowy Owls don't like Great Blue Heron. A GBH came through, walking, and everywhere he walked through the Snowies, they left. Can't wait to go back!

She's coming for you. Time to go. If an eagle walked towards me like that, I would definitely back off. I thought she just exuded being mad. I was also playing with Photoshop's burn and dodge tools.
