      So, can I ask why your cats are so rubenesque?

      I'm worried about my kitten, see, because she is ALWAYS hungry!

      Snickers was a normal kitten when we got him 7 years ago and had no idea he would grow this big. He is naturally built big, and was 20lbs by the time he was two. He now weighs 28lbs.
      When we moved to our new house though he had an injury and some tussles with neighborhood tomcats that I think has effected his want to go outside and explore. He now prefers to lay around the house. The poor guy can feel his uncomfortableness. But he eats just as much as our other two cats who weigh 17 & 10lbs. They just don't exercise.

      One more thing that could be affecting your kitten's hunger is the type of food. The more corn it contains (FYI: cats don't eat corn in the wild) the faster they digest it, and....the more waste they have ;-)
      We've upgraded our food and our cats don't eat as much as they used to :-) We also substitute with a little wet food.

      I feed her Iams, but a friend also recommended more wet, and less dry. She came to us as a starving kitten that we found in our living room, and she stayed. But she still acts like a starving kitten, even though she's not now!
