I can read! who knew!

Just finished the 3rd book. Completely addicted, and feeling fantastically nerdy about it. The only problem is that I sort of know what's going to happen and who's going to die, and then I feel personally responsible for killing people off because I keep reading anyways.

If you haven't watched Game of Thrones, you're missing out, big time. My normal attention span for tv shows is a maximum of 15 minutes and I watched the whole 10 hours of season one in one sitting. it's THAT good.

In my procrastination against finishing the Sulawesi photos I decided to dig way back into the archives, and found Penny and Sara having coffee in Vancouver town. Well... Penny's probably having Milo, of course. ...Does Vancouver even have Milo?

So... retarded Carli-ism of the week: My 50mm was having AF problems, so I finally took it in to Nikon on Monday, and they fixed it on the spot and didn't even charge me for it (Thanks Nikon Friends!). Then two days ago I was sweeping my floor and it somehow got knocked off my dresser, fell on the floor and broke (I can't figure out why it broke so bad, I've done WAY worse to my gear without any problems...) anyways, took the same lens back in to nikon two days later, got a weird look from the guy there, and they said it wasn't worth fixing. grrrrr.... I'm pretty sure I fail at life.
