Went back to Ali'i Beach park hoping to get a better sunset behind the turtles but didn't have any luck. I guess I'll just have to keep trying till I'm satisfied. I don't think this is the same turtle as shot before. But I guess this ones name is Bob 3 :-)

We have a hurricane named Felicia heading towards us and should be here by later today or tomorrow. Unfortunately it will probably be a tropical storm by time it reaches my island, but we can all hope that it picks up speed and gives us some interesting photo opportunities :)

Anyways, hope you all had a good weekend. Life was good in Hawaii thanks to BJ PENN!!! Looks like KenFlo could NOT kill the master...

What up. I've been really busy with work this week. I will be visiting your streams this weekend. I luckily had my camera with me while going home from work and stopped by to see if there were turtles at Ali'i Beach Park... and yes, there were. 5 turtles total lying on the sand here. I'll put up more soon.

Here's a quick post before I head out to work. And ya I got lazy with the title of this shot. This was shot at Our Lady Peace located on Fort Street Mall in China Town. Thanks to Scott for finding this location for me :)

This top section was gated and locked when I went there. Luckily there was only one person in there and I was able to climb over the locked gate. No harm, no foul :)

Here's my second attempt shooting at the Hawaii State Capitol building. First time was with the 10-20mm, this one was shot with the 10.5mm Fisheye lens. This was the last shot taken with my old tripod before I tried to turn the camera vertically and the head snapped off.

This remodeled $1.4 million, 36-foot circular mosaic titled "Aquarius" was designed by Tadashi Sato and was opened to the public on July 16.

Manual blending of 4 exposures. The image as a whole is NOT a symmetry flip, but I did do some clones and flips of the lights as some were out on each side. Curves, contrast, saturation, color balance, and unsharp mask.

So I was tagged by nictay_27 last week but never got around to processing these photos till now. I'm not one to play the tagging game but since I had these photos of me I figured why not.

1. I enjoy outdoors activities, hiking obviously one of them.

2. I can't speak Chinese but I can order some mean Dim Sum with my pointer finger.

3. I can't speak German and I don't really know of any german food :)

4. I'm almost done with school for Web Design.

5. Before getting into the digital world of web design and photography I was into writing music, playing guitar, and being the lead singer in out band.

6. I skateboarded for 6 years but now I just surf. I really like snowboarding but it's hard to get into that with our obvious lack of snow in Hawaii.

7. I don't like thinking of random things about me :)

8. Ever since I got my D90, about a year ago, I've shot maybe 1% single shots and 99% auto bracketed shots of 3 or more exposures.

9. Outside of the US I've only been to Japan and Hong Kong but love traveling and want to see a lot more of the world.

10. I'm watching NCIS right now.

This was shot hand-held by a friend and I just blended 3 exposures together plus the same mixture of adjustments.
