Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Our Memories, Our Times, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

These are superb, dedication paid off getting this little chaps adventure.
Wonderful clarity and detail, it certainly looked like a bit of an effort getting up there :o)

How did you capture these shots? Did the fly just not care you were there pointing a camera in his face? :-) I was trying to get some shots of a dragonfly this past weekend, and it was a challenge to get one or two decent shots because he was so fast and didn't want to stay in one spot. Anyway, great job on this macro, the detail is amazing!

Did you give him a drink first? Tell him a joke? I've no idea how you get them to pose for you like that, but I take my hat off to you. I never thought I'd even WANT to look at a fly that close - yuk! But it's mesmerisingly beautiful in a grotesque way. So reminds me of that film.....

      This shot is amazing!

Haha!! No...... no drink, no joke. Just a lot of fast clicking/snapping on my part. And........ it helped that I was at a considerable distance, using a 300mm lens with a macro setting, too! : )
