Bottle drinker

Betsy decided a few weeks ago that feeding from a bottle is for losers and would only nurse from me and if you even showed her a bottle, she'd scream and scream. This was a shame. Although I love feeding her, it would be nice once in a while to go out and have a cocktail with some friends and leave Betsy in the capable hands of Dave. Today she took and drank from a bottle for the first time in ages. It's the start of a long journey, but I can see that Old Fashioned in the distance...

Trifle

Every time I make trifle, I end up eating too much in one go and spend the rest of the day on the sofa feeling sick. This one was no exception. No nutritional goodness in there at all and probably a whole weeks worth of calories in one mouthful. It was aces.
