Last day of the trip and the sun came out. Riding home from Poole I stopped off at Popham airfield for a coffee and to watch the planes. There were adverts for shares in planes I can fly and it's vaguely affordable once I'm working regularly again. Hmmmm.
I'd never been on to Portland Bill, so went up to look at the view. You just have to trust me, the sea is out there somewhere.
I took the twisty scenic coastal road to Weymouth. It was twisty and coastal, but not exactly scenic that afternoon. Mist rolling in off the sea, and Paul McCartney nowhere to be heard.
Detoured off the main roads and through some of the tiny twisty single track lanes around Dartmoor. Pretty countryside and villages.

T'was a tad damp on the morning I left Cornwall. Not so much raining as very low level cloud.
The folks new puppy, Fern. Very cute, very lively. *iwannapuppy*
This is Hartland Quay. I spent a cold, damp and baffling day trying to map the deformation in the rocks here on a university field trip. Was passing (ish) so thought I'd pop back and have a look. Still cold, still damp and twice as baffling.
Supposedly the steepest hill in England. I'm not convinced though.
