We explored the region south of Hobart in a little hire car. This is the harbour where the ferry takes cars and passengers to Bruny Island.

Coming down the mountain from the south of Hobart, I took this shot from the window of the car, as it was moving! (No, I wasn't driving)

The sun rose over the hills and the water... and ushered in a glorious day!

It was the best way to start our day in Hobart - imagine opening the curtains as soon as I woke, to discover this!

These buildings were built by chain gangs of convicts in the early 1800's... and today they are a beautiful part of Hobart's waterfront.
