Ben Affleck “Gimme Shelter” video launches UNHCR campaign for displaced Congolese:
"We made this film in order to focus attention on the humanitarian crisis in the DRC at a time when too much of the world is indifferent or looking the other way," said Affleck. "The suffering and loss we've all seen first-hand is staggering – it is beyond belief."
Help us and Ben Affleck bring attention to the plight of North Kivu’s displaced civilians. All you have to do is post UNHCR photos of this humanitarian crisis on your blogs, websites and social media plattforms. This will help raise public awareness about the suffering and needs of the displaced as well as giving hope to those lives have been affected.
We’re also keen to know where and how you post our photos. So please send us a link to your corresponding blogs and websites.
