I think "whoopee" sums up Barney's thoughts here :) He had a fantastic time on our holiday at St. Davids... My dad, step-mum and Dilly only stayed for 5 days but then my best friend, Natalie joined Barney and I for another 5 days so the we had a loong holiday! I don't think Barney's ever had so much exercise or fun, we were probably out exploring for around 5 hours a day (usually spending a least a couple of those hours on a beach). He was in a very soggy doggy heaven... He divided his time between swimming, racing around at the beach, shouting his head off at waves, rescuing rather unappreciative pebbles from said waves, attacking seaweed & eyeing up local sheep and even at the campsite he was running around playing fetch (we were in an empty field most of the time). When not running flat out , he was flat out asleep...
Barney wasn't the only one to have a great time... I had lots of fun too, the weather was pretty much perfect on all but one day... lots of nice walks to rediscover and just being by the sea again was bliss. It was great having my friend coming to stay too, she'd never been camping before so it was quite an experience for her! As well as spending a lot of time being alternately herded and bounced by an intensly excited collie, I saw an amazing amout of wildlife on this trip, which was fantastic. Porpoises (including a baby one), a very weird looking bioluminescent jellyfish, semi-wild ponies, seals, gannets, tiny, tiny baby frogs (my faves, they were VERY cute but sadly too small to get any good photos of!), toads, I also had to rescue a baby bird and a baby mouse... don't ask!
We got home Tuesday afternoon but I only really started looking through and editing photos yesterday afternoon, as I was just soo tired when I first got back. Spending a few days at my aunties now and will enjoy catching up with everyone on Flickr soon. I have to say, although I didn't miss it while camping, the internet's very exciting when you've not had it for a couple of weeks :) Anyway, a bucket load of Barney at the seaside photos to come... hope you won't get sick of them - a few below! Hope you've all had a good couple of weeks and have been enjoying the good weather :)
