Anemometer and wireless transmitter

Anemometer and wireless transmitter

Uploaded for CWOP, WeatherUnderground, Blackberry Ridge Cabin purposes.

This is the anemometer mounted to the cabin chimney. 20 foot fiberglass pole that extends about 4-5 feet about the top of the house apex. I am contemplating adding another 7 feet, but the last pole is rather flimsy, so at moment making do with what I have.

This is the older Davis Vantage Pro 2 Wireless. I have since upgraded to the Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus with Aspirated Shield.

This is sited in the most open place I have on the cabin property. It is alongside the road, but as you proceed westward, you begin to run into trees again. I probably have some rain shade going on with the trees.
