Replacement for the head-direct RE0 that broke into half. Amazing sounding as it was, how does a metal casing earphone split into half. Still under warranty but Malaysian post sucks so much that it is a hassle to post it back.

Comparatively the Shure is less analytical, less detailed but by no means lacking, it is however warmer sounding and has a punchier, more substantial low end. Highs and mids are also stellar though not to the RE0 standard.
