After a positive 'no insurance hit' on the BMW by the ANPR van, it is pulled over for the officers to speak to the occupants. 05/332 provides immediate support in case the suspect vehicle takes off.

However, the suspect BMW forced it's way out of the cones and around 05/315. A few miles down the road the BMW was brought to a halt by PO54 NVP, Merpol's (now decommed) terrific unmarked Vauxhall Vectra SRI. More traffic units have moved in to prevent the BMW making off again. No damage to police vehicles, one male arrested.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service have had to remove the roof of the Delta Taxi in order to safely get it's passengers out. Luckily both escaped with minor injuries. Merpol's local CIM van is now on the scene to manage the aftermath. Two males arrested from BMW for possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition. Minor bumper scrape to unmarked V70 ARV, sad times.

This BMW pinged up on 05/803's ANPR system as a vehicle connected with Liverpool's drug and gun crime gangs. After a 5 mile pursuit involving 05/803 & 05/806, the BMW was halted by a double team of ARV's (05/808 & YX56 EZF). However the pursuit wasn't brought to an end without collateral damage, a Delta Taxi's Skoda Octavia was rammed as the BMW's occupants tried to evade capture. The Skoda was rammed up against the kerb, ripping off it's offside front wheel and tearing up the pavement. It's driver and passenger suffered severe whiplash due to the force of the collision.

05/334 & 05/487 on scene with NWAS after a Skoda Octavia Delta Taxi clipped a kerb and overturned whilst speeding. Nobody hurt, alcohol thought to be cause.
