Inspired to upload a dip of my daily breakfast drink by kristin~mainemomma. Delicious fuel, indeed.

Loved looking up into the various types of palms in Tulum. What are those red berry/nut looking things, anyway?

The second place we stayed was a massive, all-inclusive resort up the highway with trams between three hotels and paved pathways everywhere. And iguanas. Lots of iguanas. The air conditioning and five-star service were a nice change, but I'm partial to the other part of Tulum, where we could wander to a variety of romantic open-air restaurants and enjoy a relatively unpopulated beach.

In Tulum, we first stayed at a delightful little eco-lodge called Las Ranitas. Every morning, we would drink coffee and pineapple smoothies on the sunny thatch-roofed terrace, looking out over the waves and waiting for just the right moment to wander into them.
