Now what do I do?

    Newer Older

    Parking in town: €6
    Meal in McDonalds: €7
Canon EOS 1000D (including 2GB memory card, camera bag, voucher for an official Canon one-day training course in Cork, and €50 worth of prints at O'Learys Camera World, where I bought it): €549.
Convincing myself that it was "the next logical step, which would move me to the next level": Priceless.

So! I've gone away and bought this baby!
The battery has just finished charging, but I'm going to wait until tomorrow before I start to play with it.
I'm almost afraid to touch it!
Maybe I can just leave it powered off altogether and take photos of it.

Oh you little Rebel :-) Apparently it has a lot in common with my little beauty the 450D :-) I'm sure you will have loads of fun with this and I look forward to your additions on here. Mind you it's person behind the lens that counts and as your images are already excellent it will be interesting to see the results :-)

haha! - UNBELIEVABLE! - Your story E-X-A-C-T-L-Y matches mine! :D - I had a W50 previously, then an year back got hold of a W130 due to the image stabilizer and Now, I am finally making a move towards D-SLR, with the 1000D! :D (anxiously waiting for the delivery..)

      :)

      Cheers buddy! :)
