A remarkable plant at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers.
I have so many choices on my new camera it is still driving me a little crazy. There are 4 dof choices to produce a shallow dof with bokeh that I am experimenting with.

i like it how you've used the DoF to guide our eyes into the same direction as the pattern on the plant. our eyes follow the middle of the plant to the edge of it. a very natural way of looking at it, making the photo very easy to look at. but what i like best about this photo, is that there are little pockets of sunlight on the leaf. that makes the image come alive and creates points of focus from where we can explore the photo. the only thing i'm thinking about is that perhaps you could crop this photo just a bit so the background wouldn't be visible. than you would have an abstract image of the plant. although i do not dislike the photo now, i think the pattern would come out stronger. but nevertheless this already is a good photograph
