In preparation for the release of BF3, I spent a bunch of hours in photoshop designing a custom wallpaper for myself, and later, for my squadmates.

I wanted something that would evoke military unit or division badge, without being too specific.

This is the result.

It also inspired me to go one step further and turn that design into a case window - I've got a sizeable case (a Cooler Master ATCS 840) and wanted something totally unique.

Queue the dremel!

some with a dremel, some with a jigsaw. good times.

i'll say this once: change. cutting. wheels. OFTEN.

the type's backwards 'cause i'm cutting from the back of the case to the front - there were a lot of errant dremel slips ...

that is all.

and after the cutting, filing and sanding sharp edges as best i could.

also, i took this off-camera opportunity to clean up the worst of my numerous errors with black sharpie.
