Carefully pull out each of the inner layer of points and pin down, lining up the point with the seam of the leaf block.

Notice there are two layers of points on the backside of the square. Do not catch any of these when you are tacking down the center points.

Using a hand needle and thread, tack the four points in the center down, making sure not to catch any of the points on the back of the square.
