The five-bale set
Here's a back towards the house view of the five-bale set, with 2
brandywines and 2 pink ponderosa 'maters from right to left in the
back row, the Pimiente del Padrones in the back corner with 2 peppers
a growing on it already and more flowers coming; the little Nu-Mex
peppers growing on the left, and the little newer Hungarian paprika-
makers coming along in front of the Pimiente d'Esplette and "Sparky"
peppers in the middle; there are flowers on all four of the different
colored sweet bell peppers in the front right quad, attracting
hummingbirds, even though they're more known for being insect
pollinated. Go figure.
er. yes, I do need to go whack and pull me some thistlies in the back
I'm not taking upper pix of the poor neglected-to-death plum tree
that's hanging on as best it might in the middle of the yard (behind
the 5-bale set in this pic); the living branches are valiant, but it
shows, painfully, the neglect of years.
