Pottery by Penny Sewell
Paddy Burns originally from Co. Down and Penny Sewell originally from
New Zealand moved to Rathlin Island in 1991 and since then they have
worked to make Shandragh their home.
Through the years while gardening and building they have found pieces
of pottery and tools dating from the Bronze Age. So much so that even
on a simple day in the garden pieces of pottery and tools are
unearthed.
With the house and Island steeped in such history and myths as well as
the amazing views it would be hard not to be inspired
