CityCenterDC Construction Progress - Washington, DC
CityCenterDC is one of the largest downtown developments currently under construction in the US. This 10-acre site will eventually contain 1.2 million square feet of office space, 674 residential units, about 335,000 square feet of retail space, a 350-key hotel, a central plaza, a park, and four levels of underground parking containing about 2,100 spaces.
There are seven construction cranes operating on the site. The six-building, first phase of the project is anticipated to be complete in early 2014. Three more buildings will join the site in the future for a total of nine buildings.
