Have compassion. By understanding the fears and desires of yor subjects, you can more easily relate to them and build a trusting relationship.

Fine art photography is difficult to define, primarily because artistic value is very much in the eye of the beholder. It can be best described as photography purely for the sake of expressing the photographer's own vision and feelings.Whereas finding or capturing extant images was the norm in art photography for many years, more recently elaborately staged and lit created images have come into vogue. With the widespread use of digital photography, the photographic artist's ability to manipulate imagery is almost unlimited.

Portraits are often more than likenesses of people. At their best they are filled with clues about historical and cultural context. About the artist interests and abilities, and about the person in the portrait.

Perhaps photography allows us to daydream, reverie is where time seems to stretch out...When you look closely at one subject – like the roses or the couch – something can suddenly fall into place. It’s how a choreographer might construct a dance, or a composer might compose music; taking one gesture as a motif to build upon. It’s a similar thing for me with photography, constructing an image out of something that’s already there. Later, there may be a fine-tuning of sentences or nuances; the lighting and the composition are very specific in my work.

This image illustrate the complexity and fluid movement of life. I feel that creating my art is like jazz, it has an underlying unity with infinite variety and possibilities.

This digital media image challenges the imagination with sensual swirls, intriguing colors, and vigorous movement of abstract shapes.....As Mozart himself wrote to a friend, “People think my art comes easily to me. I assure you, dear friend, nobody has devoted so much time and thought to composition as I. There is not a famous master whose music I have not industriously studied through many times.”
