Stitched together from the exact same original photos as the previous image, just tonemapped much more aggressively.

This is way over the top, classic overdone HDR, and I wouldn't do it normally. But I like the amount of difference between these two renderings of the same originals. (Plus I'm not terribly happy with the other one.)

(Presumptuous to mention Kjarval like that ... but the way this rendering emphasizes the rough rock textures reminds me of his landscapes. He grew up a couple of fjords over from here.)

Tried out making an entirely green meal. Green mizuna, arugula and iceberg lettuce, zuccini, green paprika, Brussels sprouts, green chili, lime juice. Also, all locally grown — you can do that in Iceland, as long as you are willing to lie about the Brussels sprouts.

Driving through the ash plume just south of Eyjafjallajökull, on a fishing trip. Sand raining on the car roof. This is at high noon on a sunny day.
