Corel Aftershot Pro Presets

Until recently, I was using Bibble as my raw converter - compared to the competition it was inexpensive, fast, ran on Linux, and had an open plugin API, leading to the development of some cool plugins.

Now that Bibble has become Corel Aftershot Pro, I had to spend some time converting my colour-mangling plugins to ASP, and thought I share the result.

These presets were inspired by the work of the wonderful Keitha McCall - some of the presets are the result of my attempts to replicate her LR presets. Look at Keitha's blog www.ascenicworld.com/ to learn how to see raw images just as raw material for something much bigger.

The presets rely on Colour Equalizer, Fat Toni, Silicon Bonk, and Wavelet Sharpen. I am still missing some plugins in ASP - most importantly in this context Brenda, which is much more powerful than any other colour manipulation option.

Many of the presets use very steep tone curves, so you might need to adjust exposure to hit exactly the right spot. Colour balance can also be critical - it may be that tone curves for other cameras give different results (these are done for a Pentax K7).
