    I can certainly see what you are trying to get across with this image but icon images are difficult images to photograph. Technically there are some areas that are overexposed and the whole composition doesn't seem to be as sharp as it could be. A lot of emotion goes into images like this but they don't always cross over to the viewer. Sorry, No vote. Other Jurors may be along shortly.

    I think you succeded with this one... this image is intense.. no concerns on the composition and I think the exposure is ok (I don't mind of the overexposed areas they don't disturb my viewing experience).

    I'm giving a small no anyway.
    The No's reasons are the following:
    - the image is a little too blurred and this is even more visible in the large format, this has to be keep in mind next time you are going to shot this kind of subject... the tear on the Vierge's face should be sharper and perfectly focused.. this could enhance the image and transform it in an iconic self speaking picture!
    - I think also that white balancing could be improuved... try a colder temperature... not much colder... just a little!

    Strong in emotions. Nice idea and I really like your crop and angle of capture. I like the light, I like the shades and I really appreciate how the shiny spots on the vales come out, but unfortunately there is too much over exposure for me to let it through to the main pool. Please come back with more work.

    And just a note, but I notice the bottom of your shot being not straight with some gray frame, but only at the bottom that looks patched.... I would have croped straight to cut off the gray part and make the whole image even.
