After a two year hiatus from flickr time to post some new pics

This friday the 13th of March at 2am, the newest member of our family, Finnegan (Finn) William Gosney was born. He weighed in at a solid 3.77kg and has a good crop of thick dark hair (unlike his dad!) Sophie was a trooper and had a uncomplicated swift three hour labour without any drugs or gas. We arrived at the hospital at 1:20am with Soph letting me believe Finn may arrive on the doorstep.. forty minutes later Finn was in her arms after a calm water birth. I have such love and admiration for Soph and I acknowledge her discipline in following the Hypnobirthing practice that we both feel contributed greatly in the ease of this birth.

We were able to come home after a few hours of rest with Fin and have introduced him to his older brother Harry who is curious about this little chap who squeaks and cries but mostly sleeps at the moment.
