C.A. Photos' photostream

Took an old photo and wanted to play with the masking, there is a lot of masking in this photo lol! Anyways I wanted to go with an out of this world feel so i made the weeds look iridescent and it almost looks like it's emitting light.

So this is my first attempt at compositing two images together, I took the self portrait and merged it with a stock image of a parking garage, I tried to get the lighting accurate enough. Any suggestions,critiques, or comments would be great! I'm looking to take photography into a more surreal direction and composite images are where i'd like to start.

Update: Today I decided to take out the D90 and practice a bit of manipulations, this is what we came up with, I really like the outcome, I've also decided to change my style up a little bit so I'll be trying out more conceptual work and focusing less on portrait work. Eventually I'll have gotten better light modifiers and soft boxes because i'm looking to start a 365 soon!
