      That's a coincidence.. you had not put the title on when I left the comment this morning, if I knew the name of the Pub on the corner I would know which street that was!! The 'Crooked Billet' was my favourite name!!!

      that's funny. I was streaming the amber online, while you were writing your comment. I had the photo on my desk and didn't know where it was. So I had to find out to give it the title...Did you find some interesting views in your books?

      Rogerandcarol, this is it! Some marvellous photos in this album. Maybe I will do this one with the snow and fog too. I have also seen the Byker on the amber online and thank you for this drawing link of this japanese artist.. That looks interesting, I will explore it later.

      i once met jimmy forsyth at the side gallery in newcastle, his photographs are terrifc, and this is a lovely representation of one

      I met L S Lowry at a Gallery in Newcastle when I was still at School there.. Jenny Lee, the Minister for the Arts was there too.
