Isla de Margarita, Venezuela
Isla de Margarita is an island about 20 miles (30 km) off the coast of mainland Venezuela. We were at a smaller island, connected with the main island by a causeway. There was nothing but a shopping building, an avenue of small shops, and a small beach. The Oceana, a P&O cruise ship, is at the pier. It had mostly British passengers, who had flown to the Caribbean. This view shows the small island and beach from our cruise ship, anchored in the sea. A tender from the Ryndam is taking passengers to the small island.
I can't say that we saw Venezuela.
