Raptor Release 006
This Great Horned Owl is a permanent resident at the Carpenter Nature Center in Hastings, Minnesota. He was injured, nursed back to health but yet unable to fly due to injury, by the Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine.

A Red Tailed Hawk spreads its wings after being released back into the wild. The hawk had been injured and nursed back to health at the Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medicine School. On this day, the 24th of September, the hawk was released at the Carpenter Nature Center; Hastings, MN in front of thousands of appreciative people!
