I got a letter from a 13 year old girl the other day telling me how she stumbled upon LOVE’s website by chance and how much it has inspired her. I don’t know where to start but after taking a hiatus from LOVE the past year to focus on my life and the direction in which I want my life to go, it is with great pain that I have decided to let my non for profit project with the children from developing countries go.

The experience of starting this project has been rewarding on so many levels, but like everything else, it came with much personal sacrifice. LOVE brought amazing people into my life and connected me with the most unforgettable children globally. I can’t imagine taking a different path to get to where I am at in my life. I thank you for your love and support of my project because without having so many people believing in me, I would never come to realize my dreams. Charity work is one of my many passions and I will continue to do them, but it will be on a much smaller scale.

By the end of April LOVE will no longer be on Flickr and LOVE’s website will no longer be available. You can still purchase the prints made by my students through the Zenfolio account. Please feel free to follow me and my work through www.samanthaphotography.com

With all sincerity,
Samantha
