T. ENAMI SLIDES in the PEM
HAPPY 150TH, T. ENAMI ! FEBRUARY 17, 2009. SESQUICENTENNIAL BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY.

The images in this set are from the vast and rare Photographic Collections of the PEABODY ESSEX MUSEUM in Salem, Massachusetts.

There are almost 1,500 beautiful old lantern-slides of Japan in their archives, with at least 50 (so far) being confirmed T. ENAMI images.

The 14 lantern-slide scans were made for me by the Museum, and are posted here with their kind permission, for Enami’s 150th Birthday Anniversary Flickr Display.
