Here we have seven lovely pipe-suckin', cigarette-huffin' KOREAN babes in all of their high-class glory. What else could you ask for in a shot like this ? No, these respectable Korean girls aren't going to take their clothes off for you, so don't bother to ask (as opposed to the JAPANESE Geisha, who could be induced by the photographer to drop their drawers.....er, I mean Kimonos..... for almost nothing).
Please compare the old Korean Girls above, to my modern-day Korean girlfriend seen here :

I dedicate the above caption, and all of my OTHER "juvenile and adolescent", goofy, silly, odd-ball captions to felix190sum. (See comment #4 below)

seems to me that the pipes served the duo purposes of polluting the lungs and acting as sticks to move the chess pieces

What a precious set! It`s difficult to find vintage Korean pictures on the Internet. Thanks for sharing.
Okinawa Soba 53 months ago | reply
Hi MIREILLE. Yes, these old Korea photos are hard to find. I have about 300 of them --- most in 3-D --- and picked out what you see to make the set. Glad you like 'em !

Thank you, again.I`m fascinated by historical Korean dramas that are shown quite often in Japan,so I was looking for some vintage pictures from this country.

I'm loving your set of old Korean pics! I lived in Korea for six years and before leaving I had to marry a Korean so I could have fresh Kimchi for the rest of my life...! I showed this picture to my wife and she said these were probably Gisaeng, the Korean version of Geishas, since they are smoking and in Korean traditional culture women don't usually smoke.

Hi Renato. So, you are telling me that you married one of the world's most beautiful women. Congrats ! And make sure she keeps that Kimchi coming !
As for me, I like my link to the goofy Fried Chicken commercial more than I do the old Korean Geisha ! ;-)

I'm so interested in these Korean pictures you have shown for us in here. I am a Korean College student with history major, and I hope we can keep in touch about Korean and Japanese oldtime photos. I have lots of information about these photos, you know.
Hope you can contact me on idea0853@yahoo.com
Sincerely,
Mark

Hello!
I like and appreciate both Japan and Korea. Thank you for all the effort you put in uploading these photos. I am really grateful for that and I enjoy reading your captions.
If you have time, please do upload more photos concerning Korea. I'd like to get to know more about its history, culture and traditions.
