You have a lucky face ...
Whilst walking along the promenade I was stopped by a person claiming that I have a "lucky face". Thinking it was just a passing comment made out of friendliness I stopped to listen, after what felt like 20 minutes the talk was reaching its conclusion, finishing with a "mind reading" trick. The trick involves him writing down a number and the name of a flower when you’re first stopped, toward the end you say a number and a flower and guess what ... it's the same as on the paper. Long story short, the guy just wanted some money in the range of $100 ~ $500. He gave me a choice of donation size depending if I considered myself a rich man or poor man. So much for my "lucky face"!
So, if you're in Tsim Sha Tsui at 3pm and get stopped by someone claiming you've got a lucky face and you stop, just remember not to say the number 3 or the flower rose.
I took this picture a few days later of one of them at work. I wonder what's running through the mind of the woman on the left??

I met these guys yesterday, they were hanging around the convention centre on the other side of the harbour. I was sitting out enjoying the sun for quite a while so I had no less than three of them approach me at different times.

These are conmen from india.. they will come to you with a peace of paper a leather folder , they will ask you tell me a number between 1-5 or tell me name of flower : generally people will say 3 and rose , which they already have written on a peace of paper and had handed it over to you .. they usually ask for money saying some give 50 some 100 and 200 and so on.. they will talk about u have negative energy and family problem and will state they can fix it .. They have stolen 10 g from me.. dont get into their traps ever .... they dont know bullshit about fortune telling .. they are frauds just tell them once that you are calling police and see how they flee away....

Apparently, it's a worldwide network. I have just talked to one of them today in Brussels too. The show is ok (at least they do perform a couple magic tricks, they are not simply begging), it's unfortunate though that they are trying to charge so much for it (that's where you can talk of con artists).
