I wanted to play a little with my pointe shoes today, but I still haven't broken them in. I wore them for half an hour and I wanted to throw myself off a cliff, so guess what I'll be doing tomorrow? You guessed right. Slamming doors on them and using a hammer to break the poor things. There. I'm a violent person.

I'm trying to get back to my older themes. I need more dark photos, I need photos that remind me of something other than beauty, of something other than how shallow I can be. I need depth. I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to get it.

The world scares me sometimes. The way things happen, how they change, how people change. How our perception of thigngs changes. It's a ridiculous thought, but the lack of control terrifies me. If I can't control how I feel, if I can't control how I think, then what's left for me to control? Maybe that's the lesson, maybe that's precisely what I have to learn. I don't know. I just don't know.

I sometimes forget that my camera does multiple exposures.

Come on, even I think this is corny. But oh well. It's what the muse wanted me to do today.

I have a clock inside my chest. It never stops. No, silly, I don't mean my heart, the physical pump. I mean the metaphorical one, the one that's counting the days to see you. That's the clock that matters.
