Ervin-Stucki Preserve, north of Clinton, MI

Met two coyotes today on my morning stroll. I followed their tracks for a while. One jumped a fence, the other crawled crawled beneath it. They scratched the snow away in a few places...most likely looking for mice. In a world so managed and controlled it's nice to see something truly wild.

The Snowy Owl was sitting on a pole located on the western border of Monroe County.
