Giant Watering Can
A recognizable landmark in Staunton, Virginia, the giant watering can is located at a fairly busy intersection at the southern edge of downtown. I took this at a less busy time of day, but it still took several shots to get a capture without a car emerging from behind it!

Great photo, Tim! What a cool find! You always find neat stuff on your travels. Whatever giant is using this watering can, must be working because those flowers below are very pretty! Very interesting to see this, my friend!

Great capture, Tim! I've driven past this water can many times, but have never stopped to photograph it -- preceisely because of its location in the median of a busy intersection. I admire your dedication!

Thanks so much for the great comments, everyone! A can that size ought to be a big help in the worst drought. ;-)
You're right, John -- it's not an easy subject to photograph, and I was standing on the sidewalk some distance away. I did do a little cropping afterward to provide a closer focus.

Neat find, Tim! I'd like to see the tomatoes that this can waters...

Thanks, Harry! I'd guess they'd walk away with first prize at a county fair!

Thanks so much for the faves! Uncadave27, I seem to recall it was added sometime in the late 1990s.
