i brought home a bunch of little beech trees and husband planted them in the rather eerie golden light the sun provided when it broke through otherwise stormy skies. it's going to make a little courtyard of sorts when the trees grow up into a hedge. one thing we're learning out here in the country is patience. i guess we're willing to wait awhile for these trees to grow up.
