The infamous V-2 rocket was a terror weapon of the Nazi regime. Over
3000 were launched during World War II, mainly targeted at London and
Antwerpen and caused the deaths of an estimated 7,250 people while
12,000 forced labourers were killed producing the weapons.
After war, the American, Soviet and British governments all gained
access to the V-2's technical designs and the actual German scientists
responsible for creating the rockets.
Exhibited in the Deutsches Museum in München. Due to the size an extra
staircase had to be built around it.
