“Folia de Reis” (Folly of the Kings) was the name of a celebration brought to Brazil by African slaves in the 18th century and was a secular version of the Bible story of the three kings, or Magi. “Folia de Reis” runs from December 24 to January 6 (the Day of the Kings) and continues throughout Brazil to this day.

Lagoa Papeba is a Lake, located about 30 kilometers south of Natal in Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil with three Kitesurf Spots, no Kitesurf Shops and five Kitesurf Schools around Lagoa Papeba. Closest of its 14 Neighborhoods are Cururu (3km north-east), Ares (5km south-west) and Tibau do Sul (5km south-east).
