Blue Velvet
Golden Gate Bridge:
When you think of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge is the one landmark that best represents it city!!
This bridge connects both US Route 101 and California State Route 1.
The bridge also connects the city of San Francisco on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County.
If you are driving, be aware that driving into the city of San Francisco on the bridge requires you to pay a $7 toll.
This is a BIG tourist trap, but it will always be a MUST SEE in San Francisco. The bridge is well worth crossing on foot, but for me personally that will be my next trip up to this beautiful city.
And make sure you take your obligatory snap shot of yourself and the bridge herself on your visit.
