Houghton House, Bedfordshire

Built between 1615 - 1621 for the Countess of Pembroke. The house was originally designed as a hunting lodge and as such was only lived in during the summer months. In 1754 it ws purchased by the Duke of Bedford. However, in the late 1700's the duke lost interest in the building and stripped it of its roof and some of its internal fittings. Since then it has just become this ruin currently in the care of English Heritage.

Bangsaray, Thailand
