Zebra print Cross Stitch

    Newer Older

I absolutely love the graphic quality of animal print - especially zebra which works so well with my love of all things black & white. You see animal print everywhere in fashion these days but as the wife of a zookeeper I always shy away from it as that borders on the slightly creepy. This pattern however satisfies my secret love for animal print. It would be great, of course, in classic black and white, but the 80s child in me can also see it in neon on a black background!

If you stitch it, I'd love to see it!
    Personal use only please. :D

This is great! And getting to be the "wife of a zookeeper" even better! Lucky You! Thanks for posting!

      - catherinetodd2 - not going to lie, being the wife of a zookeeper is fun - although sometimes smelly! Hubby is a primate keeper, so it's a little like having 20+ toddlers in our lives. Thank goodness he doesn't bring his work home with him!

Suz choose - action view all sizes to find the link that will allow you to download the image to your computer. then using a paint program. open the file . once it is open in your paint program. your paint program will have a button or link to let you print.
(the microsoft one that comes with windows is called paint and is in the accessories folder)

This totally saved my life. I am designing crochet bikinis and I wanted to do a zebra print as a one piece. Thanks!

It really depends on the count of fabric you stitch it on. Most cross-stitch is done on 14 count (that is, 14 stitches to the inch) -- at that scale it's a smidge over 7 inches by 7 inches (7.1428 x 7.1428 to be exact)

Thank you for sharing this. I am going to attempt to make a tissue box cover out of plastic canvas using this pattern. If it turns out I will share it with you.
