I think it's a male, so all the eggs have been laid or it would have been the female. The mute swans lay about 10 eggs, it can take 7-10 days. Then they take turns hatching for 6 weeks, sometimes the two of them together. I spotted this nest from the road, it wasn't as close as it looks here I used a 250 zoom, then cropped.

The Korean spice Viburnum is full of buds, three or four clusters are blooming. They fill the air with the most wonderful scent.
