I was running some errands in my mom's car, and I stopped by the big nursery on a whim.
But then I got home and found out how expensive it's really going to be (um, very, VERY expensive) to fix my car, and now I've got guilt over $9 worth of tiny tropicals.
damn.

I am continuously impressed by the awesomeness of my husband.
There was a new heating element in that there bubble wrap, with which he fixed my dryer.

She wanted to give the dog a bath. And he really needed it, the stinky little thing.
But it broke my heart how humbled he was, and how slowly and tentatively she was doing it, which made it drag on and on.
Finally, I stepped in and got it done, for his sake. But it made her sad that she wasn't able to do more of it on her own.

Dropped everyone at school- Brian was Watch Dog Dad this morning.
Ran a couple errands.
Snapped this photo in the parking lot of the appliance part store, just as the sun peeked out to burn off the fog.
Stopped by home to get the dog.
Dropped the car back at school for B, so he could drive himself to work for the afternoon.
Let the entire first grade, who happened to be at recess, pet the dog.
Walked the dog home. (It looks, feels, smells like Spring.)
Hung some sheets on the line as the dryer is in pieces on the laundry room floor.
We're looking at a house at 5:45.

Today, after all, my baby turns seven. Seven?
Seven.

Thinking of letting her pick a place for dinner. She will pick McDonald's.
