First attempt at night photography, shot purely in moonlight. I had trouble focusing manually since auto-focus would not work in the dark, and the freezing temperature made it worse.

Pelling's million dollar view of Kanchenjunga from the helipad, just as the sunlight bathed the entire landscape with some morning mist still lingering on. This view is probably the only reason for Pelling's existence as a string of hotels.

Yuksam
Yuksam is a quaint village in Sikkim which serves as the starting point for the trek to Goecha La, and on to the Kanchenjunga itself. The lack of photogenic views of the Kanchenjunga keeps tourists away. But of all the places I visited in Sikkim, this was perhaps closest to being a Himalayan Shangri La.
