So beautiful!,This image takes on a whole new
meaning while being observed while listening
to the Moody Blues "dust in the
wind". To think of past events that
transpired on this very spot so very long,
and so very far away from myself. Then and
there so long since past this was a mere part
of everyday life, and now it's a window, a
portal ,a marvel....sorry i get very
emotional
@bdt2000: I'm glad the photo resonated with
you. It's interesting, this spot was likely
a mysterious place even long ago... the well
and its location by the river hint that it
was a place for special ritual. Although to
me the spot is now an enigma, there are
people who still leave offerings by the trees
- so perhaps there are people still connected
with its past.
