'Back in the day?' I wonder if your back days were around the same era as mine! Did you graduate from high school in '85 too? 'Miami Vice' was in its first year, 'Amadeus' won the Oscar for best picture, and Prince came out with 'Purple Rain.' Any of that strike a chord with you?? heehee! I don't even meet many people who've heard of Beverly Cleary, believe it or not.

Class of '90, huh? Well then my young grasshoppuh, I am your elder ;) HA! So, did you have a weird school mascot? My school mascot was a crab. We were the ''Crushing Crabbers.'' There was a long history (in the area I lived near the Chesapeake Bay) of watermen and big industries tied to crabbing and shrimping, etc. But, we had many many state championships in football! ''.....the red and white will always fight, you can't crush a crab!'' I'm sure you're soooo interested in all that :)

LOL! Our mascot was "General Lee" our school was Robert E Lee High School so we had the uniform and everything with our mascot. Kinda funny because we always "Charged" something. :)

One of my favorite Ramona books! I love this cover, too. It's the one from my childhood copy.
